Chris Sobonya
President and CEO
Chris is our senior project manager and administrator responsible for customer sales
and marketing, project detail & planning, business growth, and management of other
Spartica consultants and outside business relationships. He has an extensive history of
success in the leisure industry including ownership and management of health clubs
and spas, and collegiate wellness instruction. He is active with all Spartica clientele.
His focus, effort, and determination are the driving force behind the exceptional service of
Spartica. He is a former graduate of Montana State University: BS Exercise Science and
Oklahoma State University: MS Health & Leisure.
Angela Martindale
Director of Client Services
Angela is the backbone of our customer service and assistance. She has an extensive
10 year history in the leisure market with luxury resort and vacation home
management/design. She is a former graduate of the University of Utah: BS Exercise
Science and an avid lifestyle coach. Angela is a co founder of a new breast cancer
organization "Fuel for the Fight" www.fuelforthefight.com
Michele Pelafas ASID, IIDA
Design Team Leader - Interior Design
Michele has over 14 years of experience, and has provided interior design services for
hundreds of spa clientele including a Modern Salon magazine "Salon Design of the
Year" award winner. As a licensed interior designer, she is an esteemed professional
member of the American Society of Interior Designers and the International Interior
Design Association. Michele graduated with honors from the Illinois Institute of Art in
Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. She is also the
acting President of Michele Pelafas Inc, salon & spa interiors. You can review her

Pat Beaton
Design Team Leader - Architecture
Pat has over 10 years of design experience including numerous project management
and lead design positions for commercial, residential, and private projects. His design
style and unique blend of luxury, quality, textures, and materials are fast making him one
of the best designers of American background. He features sustainable materials and
design with simple, clean, and modern lines. He is a former graduate of architecture
from Kansas State University.
Helen Gikas
Senior Consultant - Special Projects Australia
Helen is the instrumental driven force behind Spartica operations and business
development in Australia. She has a diverse background in the spa industry including
facility design, management, massage, hair, and skin treatments. Helen was one of the
original designers for Melbourne's first day spa and several Aveda spas in Australia.
She is active throughout Australia in spa treatments and training. She is a former spa
owner with strong energy and great enthusiasm toward our client base.
Nitin Vedi
Senior Consultant - Special Projects India
Nitin is the active Spartica team member on the ground in India. He is responsible for
business operations, development, and management of our projects in his native
country. He has been highly referred as one of the best health club and fitness experts in
New Delhi. Nitin is the active President of H & F Consultants of India for business
customers. Our business affiliation with him serves to better understand and provide
our services in the growing and changing economic climate and its effect on the leisure
industry in India.
Roberto Parker
Senior Consultant - North America
Roberto is responsible for business operations and growth in the mid west United
States. He has an extensive and experienced history in the leisure industry spanning
over 25 years including professional and collegiate sports tenure. Roberto is
considered to be one of the best professional fitness & sports performance experts in
North America. His business and professional interests are a strong addition to all our
health club and sports related projects. He is a former graduate of South Dakota State
University and Oklahoma State University respectively.
Daniel Dipace
International Advisor
Dan brings to Spartica the diversity and experience of well traveled and seasoned
international assistant. He has had the opportunity to understand and work in many
countries throughout Europe. Dan is very well connected with international investors and
foreign markets. His unique business history in sports and leisure is unmatched. He is
a former professional baseball player and Olympic athlete.
Tom Fries
Senior Consultant - Pacific Coast
Tom has an elite 25 year history in sports and human performance. He has been the
driving force behind the success of over 300 hundred professional and Olympic athletes.
He is considered to be one of the premier professional sports trainers on the west coast.
His understanding of human kinetics, movement, sports equipment, and therapy is vast
and very valuable to our health club clients.
